Novus has been honoured for its large volume of learners gaining cleaning qualifications. Novus was presented with the 2016 Eric Hill Memorial Award by the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.
This annual award – presented in association with the City and Guilds Institute – goes to the college, training provider or company that has produced the greatest number of successful candidates in Cleaning Science and Cleaning Services Supervision qualifications during past year.
Philip Morrish, Master of the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners presented the Award, certificate and purse at the livery company’s court luncheon held in Saddlers’ Hall in London to Christopher Horton, Director of Operations, representing Novus.
Philip said: “This annual award, named in honour of our company’s founder, presents us with a great opportunity to recognise and reward those who are doing outstanding work raising professional standards within the cleaning industry. Novus are worthy winners and make a significant contribution not just to the cleaning industry, but also to the individuals who gain a qualification.”
Chris Horton said: “This award is not only recognition of the hard work by our teams delivering training and education in prisons, but ultimately to our learners who are gaining qualifications and upskilling to be in a position to apply for new roles upon release.”
