Novus In The Community
Community Projects

Novus community projects play a pivotal role in helping to transform the lives of those at risk of offending and people whose path to a crime-free future continues ‘through the gate’.
Working in partnership with local and national employers, we offer a purpose to those whose lives have been plagued by illegal activity by improving their confidence and employability.

Our Partners
To ensure our learning and skills provision remains high quality and responsive to the offenders' needs, we have proactively engaged with a wide range of partners.
Our partners provide specialist strategic input into the delivery of our provision and give us an insight into their sector to ensure we evolve and our services remain of a high quality.
They can also deliver industry-recognised programmes within custody and support individuals ‘through the gate’ into appropriate progression opportunities.
Transforming Rehabilitation
The Government’s Transforming Rehabilitation reforms require Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRC) to put in place nationwide rehabilitation services, providing continuity of services for offenders in custody and the community.
Working with our partner MTCnovo, which manages the London CRC, we support the reduction in re-offending by delivering key aspects of these reforms.

Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice works to protect the public and reduce re-offending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.
It is responsible for courts, prisons, probation services and attendance centres, and also works in partnership with the other government departments and agencies to reform the criminal justice system, to serve the public and support the victims of crime. Novus delivers high quality learning and skills in custody through Her Majesty’s Prison Service, part of MoJ, in its public and private sector establishments.
